Weber Metals is the home of a 12,000-ton press that only one team in the world is qualified to operate. The project required a coating that was able to withstand temperatures of 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, and involved extremely short application windows. In addition to coating the press itself, we applied an epoxy coating to the massive grease pit. After cleaning the pit to remove all contaminants, we thoroughly prepared the surface to ensure proper adhesion. After the initial prep, we applied an epoxy coating with the ability to withstand temperatures up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.
